ABOUT HIGHLY VISUAL

Highly Visual was established in Tanzania in 2002 and moved to Kenya in 2013.  Originally the focus was stills photography but became the first company in the region to work with drones and since then have evolved into film.  

Barny Trevelyan-Johnson is the most experienced drone operator in the region, with over ten years experience and with that he has also travelled the globe extensively working in some of the planets most extreme environments.  

He holds current Kenyan and UK licenses and is fully insured.

In 2021 he was honored by the Television Academy Primetime EMMY Awards for his role in Addtional Cinematography for contribributions to the EMMY AWARD WINNING ACHIEVEMENT - Outstanding Cinematography for a Non-Fiction Programme "David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet"

 

In 2022 he was recognised by the Critics Choice Documentary Awards as part of the cinematography team 

that won the BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY AWARD for "Our Great National Parks"

In 2023 "Wild Babies" won the daytime EMMY Award for Outstanding Travel, Adventure and Nature Program.
